ANGELA WADE, BCBA

Executive Director

Angela has worked with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities since 2001. She received her M.S in Behavior Analysis and Therapy in 2006, became a BCBA in 2007, and was one of Wisconsin's first licensed Behavior Analysts in 2009. Angela has assisted with consultation and training with adults and children in schools, private homes, adult group living facilities and day programs, as well as in-home and center-based ABA programs. Areas of expertise include skill acquisition for adults and children, decreasing unwanted behaviors, facilitating job skills, social skills, and daily living skills, and increasing communication through functional communication. When she's not having fun at TRIO, she spends time with her three children and husband at hockey, cheer, or choir practice!

KIM NICHOLS-GREEN, BCBA

Clinical Director and Early Start Denver Model Certified Therapist

Kim is an Early Start Denver Model certified therapist, and teaches in the special education department at UW-Oshkosh. Ms. Nichols-Green began working with individuals with autism in 1998. She earned her B.A. in Psychology in 2000, and her M.S.E. in Special Education in 2009. She also completed the autism certification through UW-Oshkosh, and is certified in Therapeutic Listening. Now she is able to support individuals with various disabilities and their families directly and indirectly in the home and classroom through diagnosis, skill assessment and program development, training, suggesting resource referrals, and consulting with other service professionals.

Christina Fedran, BCBA 

Clinical Director

Christina has over ten years of experience in the field of ABA. She received her undergraduate degree from the UW-Oshkosh where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Music Minor. She later went on to earn a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology. She has worked in homes, clinics, and schools with children between the ages of 18 months to 18 years. She has received specialized training in the picture exchange system protocol and has worked with many AAC device systems that add to functional communication training. She is passionate about teaching and improving socially significant behaviors of those she works with to ensure a better quality of life for both her clients and their immediate community. In addition to clinical work, she supervises BCBA master’s students and has created an individualized training curriculum to ensure their success within the program and as they begin their early careers in the field. Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with loved ones, walking with her dog, reading, and time in the sunshine.

Amanda Dalton

Behavior Treatment Therapist 

Amanda has been working in the Autism field for 10 years. She started out as line therapist (Behavior Technician) and has been working as a Behavior Therapist for the last 6 years. Amanda attended Marian University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. As a Behavior Treatment Therapist, she creates treatment plans, works with parents/caregivers and oversees technicians.

Sara Sippel

Behavior Treatment Therapist, Art Therapist

Sara has been working in the field of ABA therapy for over 15 years.  Starting in 2002 as a Behavioral technician at and in-home based program for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has also worked in group homes, school districts and center-based programs. Sara will provide support and training as well as assessing the children’s skills while creating and building their treatment plans.

Abby Beyer

Behavior Treatment Therapist

Abby began her experience in ABA at TRIO Academy in 2020 as a Behavioral Technician. She became a Registered Behavior Technician and assisted with training new team members. In December 2023, Abby graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a bachelor's degree in psychology, minor in neuroscience, and a Behavioral Science certificate. At that time, she was promoted to a Behavior Therapist. As a Behavior Therapist, Abby assists in identifying, analyzing, and responding to behaviors by creating and implementing individualized treatment plans.  Abby is looking forward to continuing her education and achieve a Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis in the future. Outside of her time at Trio Academy, she spends her time with her dog, cat, friends, family, and outside in the nature!

Krista Paine

Talent & Organizational Development Manager

Krista has worked with children and adults with different development disorders for three years and received her RBT certificate in 2019. Krista has graduated from Marian University in 2019 with a BS in Psychology and graduated in May 2021 with her master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Krista wants to use her degree in helping workplaces become more adaptable to those with disabilities. At TRIO, Krista plays an important role in assisting with administrative duties, training new staff and hiring.

Julie Thao

Alternative Teacher

Julie began at TRIO Academy in 2020 where she discovered her passion for working with children with autism. She began in an entry position working one-on-one with children with autism and moved into an educational support position within the TRIO Young Scholars school. Julie completed her bachelor's degree in Human Services and Leadership at UW-Oshkosh. She continues to learn and grow with TRIO Academy and is now providing educational services to children while completing her teaching certificate. She assists the students in her care to learn their IEP goals and creates strategies to support them in transitioning back to their home schools. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and daughter.

Elizabeth Smith

Teacher

Elizabeth Smith is a teacher at TRIO Young Scholars. She graduated from UW-Oshkosh with an elementary education degree, mathematics minor, and an autism certification. She is excited to teach music, gym, and art, and also provide personalized, individual assistance to any student in the classroom. Elizabeth also teaches social skills. Her mission and goal at TRIO is to give all students a solid foundation of skills in all areas that they can continue to build off for the rest of their life. Outside of school and work you can find her with my family. She enjoys camping, playing games, watching movies, and just being in the company of her family. When she finds a few minutes of time to herself, she can be found reading. Harry Potter is easily her favorite series of all time.
