Jacquie has been working in the field of early childhood for over 25 years. She attended UW Oshkosh where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. As an early childhood professional, she has developed an extensive knowledge base of all age levels and has experience in teaching infants through school age. Jacquie’s vast experience with NAEYC, Creative Curriculum, Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards and Wisconsin Pyramid model has prepared her with a strong foundational knowledge of early childhood development, documentation and assessment, and developmentally appropriate practices. Jacquie has created an age-appropriate environment in which all children feel safe and cared for by purposefully planning and implementing meaningful routines and experiences through a play based curriculum. She encourages each child’s own individuality and fosters their ability to learn at their own level of development through developmentally appropriate learning opportunities to challenge the diverse range of needs, learning styles and interests. Jacquie’s interactions with children include modeling appropriate behavior, responding in a positive way, and enhancing learning through numerous one on one and group interactions.
