About TRIO Young Scholars

TRIO Young Scholars is a private, non-profit school designed for children with autism or other developmental disabilities, entering kindergarten through 2nd grade. We understand that transitioning from one-on-one therapy to a classroom setting can feel like a big leap — that’s why we created a warm, structured, and sensory-friendly environment where every child can thrive at their own pace.
Here, children build independence, social confidence, and early academic skills that prepare them for success in future learning environments.
Our mission is simple yet powerful —
To empower children to become confident, capable learners by meeting them where they are and helping them grow beyond what they thought possible.
We work hand-in-hand with families, therapists, and the community to create an educational experience that honors both the science of learning and the heart of childhood.
Our Approach

At TRIO Young Scholars, we combine compassion with proven teaching strategies.
Our educators use evidence-based curricula tailored to each child’s unique needs — promoting curiosity, communication, and self-regulation through play, movement, and interactive learning.
We believe that progress happens when children feel safe, supported, and celebrated for who they are.

Our school isn’t just a place to learn — it’s a bridge between early intervention and lifelong confidence.
