TRIO Explorers is an early childhood preparatory center with the goal to provide a learning experience for both children and parents that will establish life-long learning, social skills, and academic accountability.
Our mission and purpose are 2-fold. First, we strive to provide exemplary early education using early childhood best practices for all learning needs. Second, we create opportunities to observe and play while preparing young children to transition to school.
ABOUT US
A positive early childhood environment sets the stage for later learning. We use developmentally appropriate practices and offer opportunities to allow children to build on their strengths. We encourage:
Mastering fine and gross motor skills
Increasing awareness of senses
Developing healthy self-image
Mastering independence and self-help
Developing self-expression skills and healthy relationships
Respecting diversity
Learning relationships in size, weight, numbers & letters
Identifying and exploring shapes, animals, foods, and families
Exploring language, art, drama, music, science, reading, and math
Enhancing creativity in play and thought
